These have turned out quite awful but at least I was a bit productive today. I'll do a bit more of these gesture drawings another time.

I keep telling myself to let go of the digital painting for a while as I'm having a really hard time with it but I keep getting sucked in.

I did some anatomy studies & sketches today but I don't really feel like taking pictures of crappy stuff right now so all I have is a quick 25 minute landscape study. Still experimenting with brushes - the strokes aren't quite there yet.

More pencil sketches from the past two days. First are a couple of lame Loomis basic anatomy studies, and the others are a bunch of gesture drawings from pixelovely and such.

Just wanted to post this for the sake of posting. This piece is about 15-20 minutes in, I'll probably work on it a bit more but I'm quite happy with the process of this painting.

I worked a bit more on perspective with Loomis and I finally started basic anatomy. It's really hard work but the results are good! I don't have a scanner and it feels silly to take pictures of random sketches of studies hence this is all I got for today :)
